The fishing has been great with red grouper moving in closer to shore the number of keeper fish on our full day charters have increased. Permit have moved in with fish being caught on live crabs these are a great fighting fish and make excellent table fare. The Mangrove snapper bite has been awesome this month with lots of action nearshore and offshore. Spanish mackerel can be caught nearshore but they have been picky these past few weeks. They are being caught flat lining pilchards and shrimp behind the boat into the chum slick.
