About Our Marco Island Fishing Captains

Captain Patrick Lewis: is the owner and operator of Blue Runner Charters. Captain Partick grew up around water. His grandparents lived on a small lake in Connecticut where he first learned to fish and sail with his grandfather. In his early teens he moved to Northern Virginia where he continued his love of fishing on Jordan Lake, and High Rock. His first boat was an 18’ Bayliner where he learned to waterski from on Lake Anna. Captain Patrick began as a deck hand in 2014 for Rose Marina. He could be found on his 14’ Edgewater fishing every day he had off and sitting with the Captains to learn about their fishing / Captaining skills in the Gulf of Mexico.  He soon saved up enough money to get his 25’ Grady-White. His tenacity got him noticed by Captain Phil Ridge.  Captain Phil was the original owner of Blue Runner Charters. He became a mate for Captain Phil in 2015.  Captain Patrick studied for and got his USCG UPOV Six-pack license in 2016. Captain Ridge sold the business to Captain Patick in 2017.  Captain Patrick is a dedicated and skilled Captain. He understands the Gulf waters and has spent many hours offshore searching for the best reefs and wrecks for his clients to fish from. He enjoys teaching all skill levels, especially children about the joys of fishing.

​Captain Mark Zeleznik: is owner and operator of Naples Coastal Charters. Together we work to bring Blue Runner Charter clients a wider range of experiences.  Captain Mark runs a 26’ Custom boat for backwater/ nearshore fishing excursions.  His boat is launched out of Bayshore Park, Naples, Fl.  But at your request can be launched from the 951boat ramp. Captain Mark is laid back and this is transmitted to his clients, leading to a fun and relaxing day for all. We are happy to have Captain Mark as part of the Blue Runner Charters team.

​Captain Devin Harrison: Captain Devin is the owner /operator of Fins Up Charters.  Working side by side with Blue Runner Charters, we can offer our clients a broader range of exciting and fun water expeditions. Captain Devin operates a comfortable Robalo-Cayman.  He ports his boat out of the Goodland Boat Park.
